“Where am I?” Ludella sighs. “I wouldn’t have to be sneaking around in these woods if it weren’t for this damn curfew...and now I’m lost. Great. Damn it!” Ludella vigorously rubs her hands on her clothes. “And I didn’t bring any hand sanitizer! Damn it...this virus is supposed to be highly contagious! Why didn’t I just stay home like they told me to??” Ludella whines, panicking. 

Unfortunately for her, the virus moves quickly, and she has no time to reach for help. She’s lost afterall. “Oh no! I can feel it already. My whole body feels like it’s stiffening...like everything is...thick…” She moves her limbs around to test their mobility, but she can already feel the virus has taken hold of her. Her body moves almost mechanically as it progresses. “I’m going to freeze out here in the middle of the woods and no one will even know! Not until the next rulebreaker bumps into us and they’ll likely catch it, too. How did you make it all the way out here?” She asks rhetorically to her mannequin companion. 

Her movements become slower and more mechanical and her eyes widen with fear. “Evvvvvveeeerrrryyythiiiiiiinnnnngggg’sssss gettttttinnnnnggggg ssssstttttttiiiiifffffffffeeeeeerrrrrrr….. Evvvvvveeeerrrryyythiiiiiiinnnnngggg’sssss gettttttinnnnnggggg…….slllllllloooooowwwwwweeeeerrrrrr…..” She manages to say just before her body freezes in place, and her eyes stare blankly ahead like glassy doll eyes.

POV then steps out from his hiding spot in the brush to examine the frozen women. He puts on latex gloves before touching them so as not to become infected with the virus that transformed these women into dolls. On the 3rd freeze, he gets up out of his chair and walks over to her. He looks her up and down and poses her limbs. POV comes closer to take a peek at both his new toys, frozen in place with eyes staring blankly ahead. Velma’s eyes are glassy and unblinking like she’s been turned completely into a mannequin, but Daphne is still able to blink, though her face is frozen and expressionless.
